I am feeling better today, well enough to go and register us both with a new Doctor (as we are new to the area) and go out for a snack and coffee :-)

Interesting Munzly, I think you may well be right, I have heard the theory that the mysterious deaths associated to the disturbing of the TutanKhamun tomb were due in the main to disturbed ancient bacteria...

Many many years ago when I was a boy I met the elderly mother of one of the archioligists of TutanKhamun who was wearing a black scarab ring which her son given her from the tomb it looked genuine and I remember daring myself to touch it (which of course I did), then thinking how stupid I had been and that I maybe struck down in the next couple of weeks victim of the curse..!

However, I have yet to find any buried treasure in this old house but if I do I will let everyone know ;-)
I used to wonder if I had disturbed ancient bacteria waiting in ambush in the old straw and plaster or between the floorboards.

Then, there were a number of reactions to modern materials, despite wearing masks, gloves goggles etc. - cutting up any resin-bonded sheet materials would give me a pair of blocked sinus and a headache, how ever careful I was.

Glad to hear you are recovering, you seem to making a good job of it all :)

In response to:Easter break!

Thanks Helen and Mj, not much to add to the blog at the moment just waiting to heal and its (mended) nose back to the gridstone. :-)
